Vividah is led by Dr Sallam, a senior consultant obstetrician and gynaecologist with over 35 years of experience caring for women at every age and stage of life, during pregnancy and beyond. He brings the same skill and precision to aesthetic medicine that he has built throughout his gynaecological and obstetric career.
At Vividah, you are always seen personally by our consultant. Every patient receives expert, tailored care that pairs clinical excellence with a genuine focus on your needs.
Dr Sallam is a highly qualified and experienced Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist. After graduating, he spent nearly 20 years working in Egypt and the UK at both junior and senior levels. He has now practised in Ireland for over 23 years as an HSE Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist, and has also worked at two of Ireland’s leading private hospitals, the Galway Clinic and Mater Private Hospital Cork. Throughout his many years caring for women's health, Dr Sallam recognised that many women's healthcare needs remained unmet across both the public and private healthcare sectors in Ireland. Certain specialised services and advanced treatment technologies were not readily accessible, leaving women with limited options for addressing important aspects of their health and wellbeing.
Menopause is one such area that deserves far greater attention. Despite being a natural stage of life, menopause remains a subject that is often overlooked or insufficiently discussed during routine clinical consultations. Many women continue to navigate its symptoms and long-term health implications without adequate information, understanding or personalised support.
Women today can expect to spend up to half of their lives living beyond menopause. This makes menopause care and long-term postmenopausal health not simply a short-term concern, but an essential part of women's healthcare that deserves greater awareness, attention and ongoing support.
Dr Sallam believes every woman deserves to be heard, understood and guided by an experienced clinician.
